Setting up video office location
AnsweredCan I set up a video office in Simple Practice without using their telehealth platform? I currently get free comliant telehealth access as part of my Zocdoc booking service so I'd rather not pay for the service unless I have to in order to book and list the service in Simple Practice.

Hi Natalie - You'll want to go to My Account > Settings > Practice Details and click +Office to manually add a Telehealth Office Location. Then fill out NA, or "Virtual Meeting" in the Street, City and Zip Code form fields. Next time you schedule an appointment, this will appear as a location to choose from.

I have a question related to the video office location. I am starting my virtual clinic and it is illegal for a physical therapist to see patients outside of the state they are licensed in.
Is there a way where patients can do online booking and choose the professional according to their state?
Maybe could I do like Ruth said and add manually a telehealth office on the office field, keep the physical address, and still have the link for Telehealth?
Is anyone having the same problem? Suggestions?

Hi Mariana - Currently, no there isn't a way for you to manually create new Telehealth Office Location and have appointments set for this location contain Telehealth session links. When booking an appointment online, clients are asked to pick a clinician prior to selecting a date and time. So this maybe less of an issue for existing clients who've seen one of the clinicians, who's legally licensed in their state, before.

I don't think you can. I received this answer from SP support : An option would be to remove Telehealth availability for Online Booking. You can then add office locations based on particular states. Clients will select the service(s) desired, then in step 2, they would have the choice to select their office location (state). Clients would then select their state and proceed with their appointment request submission. Once received by your team, this appointment can be accepted, changed to a Telehealth session.
