Hi Alicia, there is not currently a way to translate the Client Portal into Spanish. However, we're always working to improve SimplePractice, and future adjustments to the Client Portal are on our radar for upcoming enhancements.

I second Alicia's inquiry and request. Most of my client's are Spanish speaking and it would greatly improve their onboarding experience if the portal was available in Spanish.

    Hi Alicia and Tina,

Following up on Gillian's comment, we love feedback and ideas for ways to advance the platform, and if you have a moment I encourage you to vote and add your comment to the Client Portal in Spanish idea which has been added to our Ideas and Suggestions board. When you vote or comment on this post, you'll automatically receive our status updates on this feature.

For some background, posting and commenting on our Ideas & Suggestions Board means that members of our Product Team, as well as all members of our Community, have transparent access to review your suggestion. This board is one of our most important resources for understanding which features will have the most value for our community.

If you're curious, here's more information about how a customer idea can become a SimplePractice feature: Customer feedback: How a customer idea can become a feature in SimplePractice.

I definitely need a Spanish option, but it is important to add that I need this to be provided in form by which I can specify client-by-client what language their messages and reminders should be in. (This also applies to intake forms and other questionnaires.) Half of my clients speak primarily Spanish, and most of them speak ONLY Spanish.

However, other half speak English only.

I saw that this suggestion was given at the time I wrote my comment. However then, and now, I do not see how to go about that. Shouldn't I just be ably to flag it for inclusion there? Or do I copy and paste?

I would particularly like intakes for Spanish speaking clients to be available  for adolescents with Spanish speaking parents.

I typed my intake form in spanish. I would like the portal to have an option for the instructions to be in spanish for the parents.

Hi Everyone, we have a Intake Form in Spanish in your Settings > Notes & Forms > Template Library under Intake Forms, its titled Standard Intake Questionnaire - En Español. There's also a Client Portal Guide for Clients in Spanish. Clients can also change their browser's language preferences to Spanish so that information on the web page is automatically translated. Here's how to change language preferences for Google Chrome.

For Spanish client reminders, please follow my colleague Ayelette's directions on how to post in our Ideas & Suggestions Board so our Product Team can consider adding this feature to our platform.
