2 Payment Forms on File? - Joint Custody
Answered

I have a minor client and Parents have joint custody.  They are hoping to switch off responsibility for the fee every other week.  Is there a way to keep two credit cards on file?  Or will I have to manually enter the credit card information every other week?

Hi Kelli, you can certainly keep two credit cards on file! You can add both parents as Contacts to the client's file and share the Credit Card Information Form with both of them, or you could add their cards in manually and store them. To share the Credit Card Information Form with the parents, go to the client's file > Edit > Contacts > Add Contact, then click Manage > Manage Client Portal & Billing to enable Client Portal access for both parents. Go back to the client's Overview page, hit the Share button to the top right corner and send them the Credit Card Information Form to fill out. You can manually alternate which card you charge, but the default card will be the first one entered, or the one that was filled out by the "Responsible Biller," if designated.
