ERA enrollment question for Aetna
AnsweredI'm confused about the procedure regarding which part of the enrollment I should complete in Availity, per SP's instructions.
Aetna requires EFT/ERA enrollment additional details through Availity to supplement the ERA request through SP. SP provided to me the Aetna PDF that I'm supposed to complete and upload. But I'm confused if I should also complete the ERA enrollment request through my account on Availity, or just complete the PDF doc and upload it to SP. The Availity interface is requiring the Trading Partner, which I don't know.
The directions seem a little unclear to me. Anyone else done this yet?
-Thanks y'all!

Hi Karen, you shouldn't have to enroll through a different clearinghouse, Availity. I'd recommend reaching out to our Insurance Team for specific help with your enrollment. To contact them, submit an email Help Request .

I am having a similar problem with Aetna enrollment. I clicked on the ERA enrollment for Aetna. It said I needed a document from Eligible for payment enrollment services through Change Healthcare. The next thing I know I'm creating a password and enrolling in EFT and ERA services through Change Healthcare. Eventually I get to a page that lists their clearinghouses that they work with. Neither Simple Practice nor Eligible are on the list! Now I am stuck and I'm wondering why am I registering for this thing and shouldn't there have just been a simple .pdf document to fill out and upload to Aetna for ERA services through SP?
