Submitting a claim to another insurance carrier

I submitted a claim to a carrier in which the clients coverage has terminated.  The claim has a secondary insurance carrier I want to submit the claim to.  How do I go about resubmitting the original claim to another carrier.

  Hi Jacqueline, you won't need to resubmit the claim to the secondary insurance payer as though it's the primary plan now. If you've already added the secondary insurance plan to the client's file > Edit > Billing and Insurance and the primary claim already has an insurance payment attached, or denial status in this case, then you can click the Create Secondary Insurance button to the top of the primary claim and submit it.   if the claim is rejected, then there is not a "create a secondary Insurance" button on the top of the claim. How are we to then submit the claim so that the secondary insurance can see that the claim was rejected from the previous insurer?
