Rejected claim after updated new tax ID number
AnsweredHello All! I recently switched to EIN instead of using my SSN for Tax ID, changed it with all insurance companies and also in Simple Practice. When I've submitted claims, they've all been rejected. Stating:
Acknowledgement/Returned as unprocessable claim-The claim/encounter has been rejected and has not been entered into the adjudication system. (A3) Missing or invalid information. [DDR UDUPE]. THIS CLAIM HAS BEEN REJECTED AS A DUPLICATE TO A PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED CLAIM. (CLAIM LINE ON 90331189161607206950251300000579/HISTORICAL 12661169801606692330790300022627). (21)
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thank you!
