Stripe set-up not accepting my photo ID

I am trying to upload photos of the front and back of my driver's license. They are both jpegs, both considerably smaller than the 5 MB maximum size. I keep getting the following error message:

"we don't currently support file type: application/octet-stream. Try uploading a file with one of the following mimetypes: application/pdf, image/jpeg, image/png."

As I mentioned, the images I am uploading are both jpegs. So I'm not sure what to do.

  Hi Rafia, can you try to File > Save as a PDF, or File > Print > Destination: Save as a PDF? If you're unable to save the document as a PDF, or can't upload it even as a PDF, please reach out to our Customer Success Team for additional assistance.
