Blue Cross / Blue Shield has confirmed with us, that they were not paying claims for telehealth sessions unless the place of service is marked "11" (Office) with the modifier code "95".
There is a lot of claim work (with so little time) when wanting to run claims with this custom. Is there a way to default all of my practices Blue Cross Clients to an "11" while still being able to provide them with a telehealth link?. So that when I am sending off group practice claims, I do not need to go one by one for up to 16 clinicians, to change the place of service from "02" (telehealth) to "11" (Office) after the appt. is complete while adding mod code.
