Hi Susan, you can use the Wiley Treatment Planner for now for free. The Wiley Treatment Plans you already create won't be deleted and you won't be charged automatically once we begin charging for this feature. You'll have to opt into the feature once we start charging for it, to continue using it for new sessions. You're welcome to use the "Basic Treatment Plan," or "Advanced Treatment Plan" instead of the "Wiley Treatment Planner."

If you'd rather use the Treatment Plan and Goals Note from your Template Library, you can add it, customize it and make it an Assessment template. Go to Settings > Notes & Forms > Template Library, click +Add to the Treatment Plan and Goals Note. From the My Notes & Forms tab, click on this template, change the template type from Progress Note to Assessment by using the dropdown menu at the top of the template. Now go to your client's Overview page > New > Assessment and use the dropdown menu at the top to select the Treatment Plan and Goals Note Assessment option.

Is there a way to customize the Wiley tx plan? I don't think it's ethical for them to be cookie cutter without the ability to edit.

Hi Megan, the Wiley Treatment Planner is a format widely used and and approved by the field of Psychotherapy to formulate treatment for various diagnosis codes. It's format is copyrighted by John Wiley & Sons and we can't make any changes to it. You can always create your own custom Assessment in Settings > Notes & Forms to add instead of using one of the Treatment Planners we offer.
