Any experience with superbills for Areola Restorative Tattooing??

I would like to offer superbills to clients of mine who receive Areola Resorative Tattooing so that they can be reimbursed, but I do not know how to ensure that I have properly set up everything for/on the superbill. Does anyone on this site do this type of service or am I the only one????

  Hi Nicole, happy to help here! You'll need to first identify the correct, billable service code and diagnosis to use for these clients. You can search for diagnosis codes using this ICD-10 database: https://www.icd10data.com/ . I'd recommend referring to your professional peers, other clinicians who provide this service, or the client's insurance payer to find out what the best service code and ICD-10 diagnosis codes are to bill insurance. Next, go to your Settings > Billing & Services > Services > Add New Service and type in the service code recommended to you. Make sure you've selected this service for the relevant appointments. You can change the service code for an appointment from your Calendar, or from the client's Billing tab. Navigate to the client's Overview tab > New > Diagnosis & Treatment Plan and type in a billable and relevant diagnosis, select it from the dropdown options that appear. If we don't have a billable diagnosis in our system, you can fill out our Help Request  form to have us add it. Finally go to the client's file > Billing tab > widen the date range to include all relevant dates of service > New > Superbill. Here's a great guide on Creating a Superbill for additional context.
