PCI Self Assessment for Stripe

I am livid. Neither simple practice nor stripe notified me that unless I complete a “PCI self assessment” than I will be charged $120/mo. This feels exceedingly disingenuous. I cant’ call simple practice or stripe they don’t publish phone numbers
