Billing Work Flow

I recently started doing my own billing through Simple Practice (which I’m loving!) & I’m struggling a bit with my work flow. I used to have a biller & she would send me EOBs & I would manually check them off of weekly paper billing sheet & then check my bank to make sure the ACH had been deposited. Now that I’m doing it myself, I’m getting all these emails from Payspan & Optum Pay letting me know I have a payment. Sometimes the eob has posted in SP but sometimes it hasn’t & sometimes there is a few days lag time between when bank deposits post or EOBs come through SP so I find myself looking all over the place on different insurance websites. I know I’m creating more work for myself but I can’t quite figure out what my system should be. I don’t feel like I can ignore the emails yet because I’m still waiting for two insurance companies to accept my enrollment for the ERAs so I don’t want to miss anything. I know there are reports I could be checking to make this so much simpler. Can someone share their system with me? Thank you!

Hi Karen, you may need to unenroll from receiving EOBs, or ERAs through other platforms, so all of them come through SimplePractice. This may require you to fill out a Change of Vendor form.
