Posting Manual Payment
AnsweredReceived payment from Aetna, however when I try to post the payment Aetna does not come up as an available payer to select on posting the payment. The claim was submitted via Simple Practice to Aetna.

Hi Alisa, I'd recommend checking the claim to see what the exact Payer ID was for the insurance payer you billed. There are many different insurance Payer IDs for Aetna, you maybe looking for a different one than in your client's file > Edit > Billing and Insurance > Insurance Information section. I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Success Team if you're still unable to add insurance payments after verifying the client's Payer ID. Use this link to submit an email Help Request.
