Hi Carrie, that's correct! They won't have access to documents you've uploaded in their file, on your end. You'd have to hit the Share button in their client file, and check the boxes for files listed under Uploaded Documents, in order for your clients to have access to them. They also won't have access to any notes, Assessments, Treatment Plans, or Mental Status Exams you fill out for them! You can always create a test client and login to the Client Portal to see it from your clients' perspective!

    Hi Ruth,

Is it possible to access Business Documents to share uploaded documents with clients via email?  Also, when I hit the Share button in their client file, I do not have an Uploaded Documents option.  The options that show are Consent Documents, Questionnaires, Profile & Credit Card Forms, and Uploaded Files (these are what the client has uploaded).  How do I access Uploaded Documents?

    Thanks

Hi Lori, you'll want to hit the Upload button in the client's file to upload documents from your computer to be able to share with the client. You can also go to Settings > Client Portal > Shared Documents and Files to the Files (Read-Only) section to upload documents you can share with any of your clients. Once you've uploaded a document, either in a client's file or for your practice, you can hit the Share button in the top right of your client's file to select from the Uploaded Files section.
