Hi Heather, I'd be happy to help. Triwest is a payer in SimplePractice and you can submit insurance claims to Triwest and receive Payment Reports through SimplePractice. First, you'll need to assign Triwest to your client under Overview > Billing and InsuranceNext, visit Settings > Insurance and click +Enroll for Triwest for claim filing and Payment Report enrollment. You'll need to follow the steps for each enrollment and may need to submit paperwork to complete your enrollment, which will process in approximately 6-10 weeks. During the time your enrollment is processing, you'll want to file claims outside of SimplePractice to avoid any interruption in your cashflow. Let me know if you have any questions about filing claims to Triwest with SimplePractice!

I am enrolled with Tricare West but on Triwest it doesn't give me that option. I will post a screenshot and to show you what I am seeing.

If I bill to Tricare West, I understand that it is different, is that correct?

Hi Heather, you can use Payer ID VAPCCC3 for Triwest. Let our team know if you run into any rejections or denials.

Hi Gillian, I did submit a claim and it has been rejected. I am enrolled with Triwest not Tricare West and the patient is under Triwest that I am seeing.

Hi Heather, I've amended my previous post - apologies for my mistake. Please use VAPCCC3 to bill Triwest.
