Billing adjunctive therapies as cash pay while billing the session as insurance.
AnsweredHi,
I'm looking for a way to set adjunctive therapy, which is billed as cash pay, so that I don't have to go into the Billing each time and change that session to cash pay. Most of our clients are insurance, but we offer acupuncture and other adjunctive therapies as cash pay. I think it would be nice to set certain CPT codes as cash pay if they are not billable to insurance.
Thank you.

Hi Damita,
There is not currently a way to set up certain CPT service codes as Self-Pay, however I understand how this would be helpful for your practice.
