    Hi Ryan, unfortunately, SimplePractice cannot recover a note that hasn't been saved.

    I've had the same issue and would love to understand how it can be there, be there, be there, and then be gone.

    At least a dozen times, I've started an intake note and when I go back to finish it, the note has re-set.  Not only is it blank, I have to choose the note format.  I press that "save" button like a rat in a Skinner box and it still re-sets.  I have contacted SimplePractice and they have not provided a satisfactory answer.  I've noticed that it's almost always the intake note that gets deleted.  Perhaps a better question to ask would be "how does someone intentionally re-set a progress note?"
