Superbill/telehealth
AnsweredHow do I get the superbill to reflect that it was a telehealth appointment?
-
Hi Abby,
A superbill can reflect that an appointment was conducted via Telehealth in the following two ways:
- If the appointment's Location is set to Telehealth + the Telehealth Office Location (on your Settings > My Practice > Locations page) is set to the 11-Telehealth Insurance place of service code, this code will appear on the superbill. To learn about modifying Office Location settings, feel free to check out this Help Center guide: Adding office locations.
- If you have enabled modifiers for your practice, and the CPT code on the appointment has a modifier listed, this CPT code modifier will appear on your superbill. To learn more about using modifiers, feel free to check out this Help Center guide: How do I add modifiers to my claims?
If you'd like us to review a specific superbill, the quickest way to get support for account-specific questions is to send us a help request by clicking the blue question mark > Get Help option on the lower right of your SimplePractice account. For more details, feel free to check out this Help Center guide: Logging in to SimplePractice and submitting help requests.
