Editing Counselor's Information on Bills and Superbills
AnsweredI have contracted therapists under my SP, when clients go into their portal or are given a superbill my NPI and Tax ID shows up on their bills causing major problems with insurance reimbursement. Can we create individual sub-profiles so that this is mitigated? We need a work around this, multiple therapists on different threads are highlighting this is a problem and no solution has been offered to date. The software needs some improvements to be more group practice friendly.

1000% yes...it's such a pain and feels like an obvious need. When I asked I was told I can create an entirely new simple practice account because a group should be on the same tax ID. I was so angry I just surrendered to changing it in the main settings each time I need to issue superbills for a different clinician. I am the practice manager for 2 therapists. Then I have to download it and add their signature because that is also apparently not an obvious need. Then I re-upload it and share with the client.

Hi everyone,
We're always evaluating which features will bring the most value to our customers. As part of this effort, we've created an Ideas & Suggestions Board where our customers can share the features that they'd like to see. When you post, vote, or comment on the ideas on this board, it means that members of our Product Team, as well as all members of our Community, have transparent access to review your suggestion. This board is one of our most important resources for understanding which features will have the most value for our community.
If you have a moment, I encourage you to vote or add your comment to the Bill under different NPIs for group practice idea which has been added to this board. When you vote or comment on this post, you'll automatically receive our status updates on this feature.
If you're curious, here's more information about how a customer idea can become a SimplePractice feature: Customer feedback: How a customer idea can become a feature in SimplePractice.
