BCBS submission problems

    The error from the post above usually means the payer on your claim is the actual BCBS "home plan" and not the BCBS "home state plan".  You should make sure the payer is BCBS for the state in which you are filing the claim.  Client's frequently select their home state plan when filling out the client portal as that is what it says on the insurance card.  However, BCBS claims should be filed with the state in which the practice is located.

    I found this post because I am getting a similar error but slightly different.  Information submitted inconsistent with billing guidelines. Participation Agreement (732).  Thought it might be rejecting over telehealth but rejecting office visit too.  Can't call the payer as the claim is never making it to the payer.  Not finding anything wrong on the claim.
