I think this is the hardest part of Simple Practice as requiring each client to request of me to book, my clients aren't used to this because I used another EHR which allowed them to book directly and I was able to set the time frame within which to do this.
I've had clients request, then immediately call, text or email asking if I have seen the request, does the time work etc.. When I don't answer them quickly, they are confused or put off, because before they could quickly and easily book as they knew I was good at presenting my availability times on my calendar.
Hopefully this will abate, but honestly right now, it totally sucks and the impetus for me changing to Simple Practice was to reduce stress and doing administrative tasks. I am spending more time trying to learn the system and responding to confused or irritated clients. I really hope that when I get better at this, it will save me time and energy.
