Any idea why clinicians cannot get access to their own client records? When a release comes in for entire records (disability determination request) the clinician who provided the treatment can not generate the request for the data to be generated. In the past (other EHR) my office manager received the request, pulled the records, provided them to the clinician for review prior to sending out.
Now - as the account owner I have to do all the requests and then unzip and work through the folders of the progress notes and documents and compile another pdf of the documents then have the clinician review before sending out. This is something my office manager should be doing. I cannot imagine how a larger group would handle this from a records department. Ideas or is change needed in SP to modify the access?
