    Hi Dr. Bloos,

At this time, the only signature that can be used to sign notes is the generic one that pre-populates when you lock them. With that said, I can definitely understand how being able to customize the signature would be helpful for your practice. We love feedback and ideas for ways to advance the platform, and we encourage you to add that suggestion to our Ideas and Suggestions board. There is an existing post there with a similar suggestion if you'd like to add your voice and vote to it: Handwritten signatures instead of eSignature checkboxes.

This means that members of our Product Team, as well as all members of our Community, have transparent access to review your suggestion. This board is one of our most important resources for understanding which features will have the most value for our community. If you're curious, here's more information about how a customer idea can become a SimplePractice feature: Customer feedback: How a customer idea can become a feature in SimplePractice.
