Restricting Calendar View for Clinicians
AnsweredOur group practice is comprised of 2 owners and 6 contractors. Right now anyone in the practice can see everyone's calendar. We would like to be able to restrict the contractors so they can only view their own calendars, while maintaining the ability of the owners, schedulers and billers to see all calendars. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi Val,
Clinicians with Basic Access or Basic Access + Billing will only see appointment details for their own clients. For other clinicians' appointments, they will see that appointments are on the Calendar with the clinician's initials and the location, however they will not be able to see any client details for other clinicians' appointments.
To view the permission levels for each Clinician role in SimplePractice, feel free to check out this Help Center guide: Team member roles and access levels > Clinician roles.
In addition, we're always evaluating which features will bring the most value to our customers. As part of this effort, we've created an Ideas & Suggestions Board where our customers can share the features that they'd like to see. When you post, vote, or comment on the ideas on this board, it means that members of our Product Team, as well as all members of our Community, have transparent access to review your suggestion. This board is one of our most important resources for understanding which features will have the most value for our community.
If you have a moment, I encourage you to vote or add your comment to the Restrict (or offer options to restrict) clinicians access to calendar of other clinicians {In group practice} idea which has been added to this board. When you vote or comment on this post, you'll automatically receive our status updates on this feature.
If you're curious, here's more information about how a customer idea can become a SimplePractice feature: Customer feedback: How a customer idea can become a feature in SimplePractice.
