Note Taker not saving recording to generate note on Android
I've re-installed the app but each time I use Note Taker on my Android and click "done" at the end, I receive an error message that something has gone wrong on Simple Practice's end and SP couldn't save the recording.

I have tried it 7 times now for in person sessions using the app and it hasn't worked any of those times. It works every time I do telehealth and use my desktop. I've tried uninstalling the SP app and reinstalling it, clearing the cache, restarting my phone. Nothing helps. I've reached out to SP and they just had me send the URL for some of the sessions where I tried it and it didn't work. I haven't heard back since. Have any of you received any help from SP?

I'm having the same issue on iOS. It fails to save the recording about once out of every 3 in-person sessions. I have reached out to support, but no response yet after a week. I won't be willing to pay $35/month for something with such a high fail rate. My practice is more than half in-person, so this is unacceptable.
UPDATE: I decided to try just uninstalling and reinstalling the app and then power cycling my phone and haven’t had any issues since.

I know they are in the beginning stages of the AI agent, but what chaps my @$$ the most is that they expect you to pay for this with all of these problems. If you haven't gotten out the kinks yet, then put it in Beta stage and allow us to use it until you can launch the finished version that works correctly. I was excited about it in the beginning, as it worked with telehealth and face-to-face sessions. However, when in a session with the 4th patient of the day that I used the Note Taker with, it recorded the session, but it didn't show up in the Desktop site. I've only used it for a single day and it's already screwing up. I would be a fool to pay for something that doesn't work even close to how it's supposed to. From looking at all the comments, they are going to need more than 30 days to figure this out. Good idea, but being the first in the market to use an AI agent is not always expedient. I can say, if they fix the ghost recording issues, this would be a game changer for clinicians. The problem may be with them having the audio disappear once the clinician taps "Done." Maybe if they allow the recording to be stored in a cloud until the AI has a chance to complete the note might solve the problem. But for now, it's a no-go for me until these problems are fixed.

Randomly, my Android doesn't record the note although I have done all the things needed but I do not get an error message. It simply does not record anything. I am using Berries as a backup bc for the recording. Berries was generating my notes before SP launched their AI. The only feature that keeps me using SP for AI is the "progress" being generated otherwise, it would not be worth it.

I had the same issue, but now I find that if I wait a day the recording shows up, just takes a while. During this time, oddly enough, it looks like nothing has been recorded (on the web version it still says "add a recording, etc" like it didn't record). Low and behold, I wake up the next day and the note is there (sometimes even after I've written a note, assuming it didn't work). So its a move in the right direction? But still highly nerve-racking!

The not recording issue has been intermittent for me (still having to do way less work!), maybe 1/25 times? It's still very frustrating. I have not experienced the note popping up a day or so after the session? But I also haven't gone back and looked, so maybe it has.
What's really frustrating is that it tells me to upload a recording and, for the life of me, I cannot figure out a way to do that. Not even sure I could upload it to the chart due to file-size limitations. Has anyone found a way to do this?? -
It appears that Note Taker will max out at about 1 1/2 hours of recording time with no warning, and will then lose the note completely. I’m guessing it might be a buffer or local storage limitation issue, but it appears to result in catastrophic data loss for the session which is completely unacceptable. A partial note would be better than no note at all.
