Appointment reminders in real time.

This issue has occurred on multiple occasions, and I wish SP would offer a solution.  There are times when I schedule an appointment that is less that 24 hours away or when I neglect to put an appointment in my SP calendar (because I also keep a paper calendar) and don't realize my error until the night before (again less than the 24 hour mark, which is when most of my clients are scheduled to get an automated reminder).  

When you click on the appointment from the calendar page, why can't there be a button that allows you to send a reminder for that particular client at that particular time?  In other words, if you want to remind a client that hasn't gotten the pre-determined reminder due to it being less than 24 or 48 or 78 hours, can we have the option to send one in real time???

  Can there be a send appointment reminder to button for in person appointments like there is for telehealth?
