NEW PATIENT NOTIFICATION
AnsweredWe are a large group with 14 clinicians. The billing department does not get notifications when there is a new patient, with new patient paperwork etc. Only the clinician is advised when new paperwork is completed. Please create a way for the billing/administrative staff to know when we have a new patient so that we can make sure paperwork, insurance, and payments are up to date and claims are billed.
Example: Have new patients be in a different color on the calendar?

Hi Jasmine, after posting this I found that someone else had posted a request similar to this in 2018. Can you go to this link as well and vote to help increase the amount of votes listed for this to happen? I'm really trying to help push for this as it is causing a lot of billing and paperwork headaches that could easily be resolved by having simple practice let the admin and billing staff know that this info asap. Here is the link to the other one below: :)

Hi Ryan,
Thank you for posting that idea from our Ideas & Suggestions Board. You're exactly right that our product team uses that board regularly to determine the features that will have the most value for our customers. In addition, when you post, vote, or comment on the ideas on that board, you'll automatically receive our status updates on this feature.
In addition to the idea you shared, you may also wish to vote or add your comment to the Allow more flexibility for permissions on Clinician, Scheduler, and Biller Roles idea which has been added to this board.
If you're curious, here's more information about how a customer idea can become a SimplePractice feature: Customer feedback: How a customer idea can become a feature in SimplePractice.
