Anyone Have an IFS note template they could share?
Hi SP colleagues. I have been Level 1 trained on Internal Family Systems (IFS) for a while and use the model extensively in my practice. Do any fellow IFS practitioners have an IFS progress or process note template you would be willing to share with me? Thank you!!

Hi Jim, Terri and other IFS peeps!
I am happy to share my IFS process notes template in PDF form to those who would like to use it as a starting point to create their own template. It is a work in process but I am using it currently in my practice. I used my own clinical experience, as well as the current IFS certification requirements (I am in the certification process to become a certified IFS therapist,) as a foundation for the form. I will certainly keep massaging it, but it works well for me right now.

Hi to all. The IFS note template is something I have intended to work on but have not taken the time to do so. I keep waiting on someone else to do it!! I would still love to have an IFS note template I could use with SP! I have templates for EMDR and EFT, but still not one for IFS. I just use the simple note template. Maybe I could do some work around the Lazy Part of me and get him motivated!! If anyone comes up with a template in the meantime, I would love it if you could share it with me! Thanks to all!!

This is what I found on SP from 3 years ago about sharing templates:
I can clarify this for you. You'll want to share the PDF, or Print Preview version of your Template to other SimplePractice account holders, so they can use it as a reference, to build the template for themselves. There isn't a way to upload another SimplePractice account's custom template.
The Notes and Forms Template Exchange is designed to facilitate an exchange of ideas between SimplePractice users on how customize their templates. You're welcome to use these examples to create your own notes, forms, or assessments; however, you can't transcribe, or share, templates between accounts through the SimplePractice platform.
From time to time, we consider uploading a customer's template to our Template Library for all customers to access.
Although several people commented on this post, there was no indication that SP was going to add this feature, nor have they posted an IFS template. If you could post a photo of your form here, that would be great. Then people can just use your template to make their own. Thanks for sharing that you designed a template.

Thanks for sharing! I'm afraid my template is strictly focused on IFS only, and not any of the many additional requirements for documentation, as you have nicely captured. Just to set expectations, my document is meant to be more of a template for documenting purely IFS therapy, as it would be required from an IFS standpoint (say for certification, for example), if that makes sense?

I would love to see your form as I will be begin working toward certification soon. I did not factor that into my form as I really don't much about it right now. You're right, I did focus mine on what I would want to remember from the IFS session as well as what might be needed for documentation/insurance.
