C-SSRS assessment request
Please add the C-SSRS screening and full assessment to the list of tools we can use. As therapists, we need to be able to assess suicidality.

I concur!
What is the protocol for getting tools like this added to the SP Template library? The C-SSRS is an evidence based tool that helps therapists identify and mitigate the risk of suicide for clients.
On their website https://cssrs.columbia.edu/the-columbia-scale-c-ssrs/risk-identification/
They identify" For health/behavioral health care providers, there is no cost or license required to put the Columbia Protocol tools into your EHR/EMR. "

Suicidality assessment and management is absolutely imperative with any client experiencing severe depression. Considering the spike in DV and other trauma related experiences during CoVid, suicidal ideation appears to be more prevalent. Teens are often overlooked, and by the time they are seen at first appointment we MUST have good screening tools to ensure safety of the client, and document that the screening was done as well as the outcome--if client needs referral for possible medication assist, hospitalization or initially more frequent outpatient therapy. A fillable PDF of the screener, such as Ms. McGrath has mentioned, would be an enormous help. This is not a small request. It is essential.

I have been searching for he CSSRS on Sp as wetland just come across this thread. We are required to assess patients and required to take training on suicide. This measure is essential in our work just like creating treatment records. This really should be a requirement of Simple Practice. Clearly the response on this thread indicates this. Someone from Simple Practice should provide a response to this.

I'm really curious about both why this hasn't been added and why there has been no response from simple practice acknowledging this very reasonable best-practice based request from its customers. Is anyone from SP reading this thread, and if so could you let us know what your intentions are around this request? Would be very much appreciated- Thank you.
