    Hi Robert,

    Our system is secure on its own, and meets and exceeds HIPAA requirements. While we do have clinicians who use SimplePractice on public WiFi networks, we cannot advise you as to the safety of those networks and your clients' data. However, we do not recommend using a Public WiFi network when using SimplePractice (or any sites like online banking, etc.) due to the possibility of data being captured outside of the SimplePractice system. If you will be using public WiFi, we recommend that you set up a secure VPN on your computer.

    While we're not able to provide or recommend specific VPN services, there are many different options that can help. Whatever solution you choose, we recommend consulting your local regulatory body for guidance.Here are some resources about our security practices for your reference:
