    Hi Jo-Ann,

Currently there is no way to bill under different Tax ID numbers and names within one SimplePractice account for different clients. Within your new account you will need to only enter in one Tax ID and name and only bill insurance for clients in that account who you can submit claims for with that information.

I don't think creating a whole new account for my new practice makes sense for my situation. I have years of clinical documentation and record through that simple practice account. Creating a new account duplicating information doesn't seem to be the answer. If I decide to Bill through the insurance company portals directly until I have been recredentialed in all panels would I then be able to update my current simple practice account to reflect my new tax ID, business name and location?

    Hi Jo-Ann,

I recommend following the process that you outlined of waiting until you are finished being recredentialed in all panels before making that change in your SimplePractice account so that you can then process claims with the new tax ID.
