Newbie here. If a potential client wants to schedule a "free 15 minute" consultation, do I send all the paperwork that I would to a new client? It would seem that I would want consent for telehealth (all I am offering right now) but I dont think I would want all the forms completed. What are others doing?

  Hi Karen - I'm a newbie too.  I don't send any paperwork until the client and I have agreed to work together.  Since it is not a session, I don't believe consents would be necessary.  I had done a search because I had the same question.  I just make it clear at the start of the call that I don't want specifics, this is just a conversation to determine if we are a good fit.

  Hi Karen, I had my first free consultation yesterday! I ended up sending the demographics form because it gave me an opportunity to verify their location and insurance benefits before we met. I didn't send anything else, as they're not a client yet.
