Adding a per graduate intern

Hello, I would like to add a pre-graduate intern to our group practice. She does not have a license number or NPI at this time and will not be billing insurance. I would like her to be able to document and track the clients she sees at our practice as she meets the criteria for her graduate program internship. 

I have not been able to add her under my supervision without the licensure number. Is there a way around this?

  Hi Stacy,

  Clinicians can be added to your account without a license number or NPI. The license number section appears to be a requirement when adding a clinician but it can actually be skipped over so that you can add them. Additionally you will want to add yourself as a supervisor for the clinician. Here is a helpful Help Center guide on adding clinicians: Adding and managing team members.

  Is there a workaround to avoid adding them as a clinician and paying $60 for them? My student intern is with me for a short period of time, and I really want to avoid any expenses.

  Hi there! I'm adding a graduate intern and it is requiring a expiration date for license (although I put N/A).

  I've had the same experience here as well that it requires a license number to be entered for an intern which isn't possible since they are interns and don't have licenses yet.

  I was wondering if Elisa's question about a workaround to avoid adding them as a clinician and paying the 60 dollars was possible, as they are students.

  We have three student interns who will be working with us for 1 year. Is there a way to add them as a clinician and avoid paying the SimplePractice?

  Hi, I also have student interns, and am really hoping to avoid paying for a SP clinician subscription for them, is there a way to add them without purchasing a therapist spot for them? Thanks!

  There was no way for me to avoid paying the fee, I had to add them as if they were a licensed professional and my cost significantly increased.

  Hi All, I was wondering if anyone had a solution to this? I am also starting with an intern and am having difficulties adding an intern user and then granting me access to sign her notes.
