billing assessments

How do you bill assessments not attached to an appointment? Idaho allows for Comprehensive assessments to be updated whenever needed and not just done at intake or attached to an appointment. We are also required to do CANS assessments that would not be attached to an appointment per se. You would not send this documentation to Medicaid but you do bill Medicaid for these services. How do you do this within Simple Practice? My understanding is that CDAs are NOT supposed to be billed the same day as an appt anyway per Medicaid rule.
