What are people documenting for an initial consult? I met with someone for an initial consult but they lived out of my state so I was unable to provide services. I recommended a couple other websites for individual to find someone in their area. That individual is now contacting me because FMLA has been denied and a lawyer recommended individual ask me for my notes for the consult. Individual was never a client. Any advice on any of this?? Thanks

  Since they're not your client it sounds like you should have no responsibility, perhaps check your board rules for additional guidance on the documentation piece.  Also providing additional education to the person since you are not their provider they will need to obtain a provider who is in their state and open to participating in that process.
