I too found it disturbing that, with the essential plan, prices will be going up 17% while I am actually losing features over what I have today (e.g., calendar syncing, Wiley plans, and online scheduling are going away for this plan tier). As a sole practitioner, I do NOT need the bells and whistles of unlimited billers and schedulers of the Plus plan, and I certainly do not want to be paying $99/month in EHR fees alone (that's a 67% price increase over where I am today). Also, I do not want to pay for SimplePractice Telehealth if I am not using it!  Why is that not an add-on?

SimplePractice - PLEASE keep the existing functionality of your middle tier plan and reassess your fee increases.

I got this email today and am frustrated by the options as well.  There's mention of being able to customize the plans, but there's basically no customization options offered and none of the plans is even close to matching my needs.  My current "Professional Plan" meets my needs and has more features than necessary.  Scheduling with one way calendar sync & appointment reminders for clients, documentation and client file management, billing/card processing, and the client portal for sending and receiving forms are my critical features.  I don't need Telehealth, treatment plans, secure client messaging, any claim filing, website services, appointment requests, additional clinicians, etc.

Simple Practice folks, can you consider adjusting your offerings here???

Exactly.  This is a massive price increase just to continue doing what we are doing as a group.  I already felt the price to add clinicians was high.  This is brutal.

I believe many others will agree that Wiley treatment planner function should be part of the $69 monthly plan. Keep us clinicians as users of simplepractice for our whole careers by offering these features at the $69 price point. If the price goes up it becomes too necessary to switch to a competitor and I rather stay with Simplepractice!

I agree with the comments above. It is very disappointing to have a substantial price increase and loose features at the same time with the $69plan. Moreover, $99 per month is a steep increase for small practitioners to keep in order to maintain calendar sync and the Wiley treatment plan.

This was so disappointing. Do we know what happens to the clients information when we leave? Do we still have access?

How will Simple Practice store/integrate client files for those practice owners who are switching to a new EHR due to the fee increase effective 3.1.22?

Yes, I  echo the above comments. I am a psychologist in solo, private pay practice. I like the features of my current professional plan and NEED the two way calendar sync. I think a modest price increase would be reasonable if we got to keep existing features. However, to LOSE features that are essential and have no true ability to customize is terrible--especially with such a significant price increase.

Please let us choose features. I don't need telehealth, so why is it now bundled in the mid tier plan, but calendar sync is not?? Fix this problem SP.

I agree with the above. We should not be losing features within the same plan structure at the same rate or pushed into a plan that has way more functionality than we need. These plans are not serving your clients as evidenced by the all the comments flooding in within hours of releasing this information. SP please listen to your customer base and keep the functionality that was available with the mid tier plan going forward.

I was shocked by the significant price increase, this is a substantial increase for providers! Especially being a solo provider, I don't need a lot of the extra features. I do feel like the Wiley treatment planning should be included in the middle level plan, $99/month is ridiculous! I feel like at this point Simple Practice is just being greedy, and is risking losing a lot of providers over this. I've been with SP for 6 years, and am now considering other options because of this. Unacceptable!

Let's ask SimplePractice to provide a chart that compares the features of the three new plans and the two existing plans.

We need the ability to select features. Can this be configured as an option? I have a website. I don't use the billing feature at all. Can we select how many of our clinicians utilize the Wiley treatment planner? My team varies in levels of experience. We don't need all of this. I do like the ability to add a non clinical staff person. Hopefully there is no charge for that. Thank you Hopefully we are heard.

Agreed. The loss of the calendar sync feels like a large blow.
