Writing casenotes in real time on ipad

Hi! I am just beginning to use Simple Practice, and would like to know if I can write my case notes on an ipad in real time to reduce my efforts. I know the question has been asked previously, but the responses from other providers have been conflicting. I'd like to know before I go to the expense of purchasing an ipad.
