Courtesy Billing Question
Hello!
I appreciated the simple practice post about how to set up accounts for courtesy billing (found here: https://support.simplepractice.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000867186-How-do-I-do-courtesy-billing-for-my-clients-). I wanted to make sure that setting up the account is all that I have to do - once I have followed these steps, are claims then automatically submitted to the insurance so that clients can be reimbursed? I am also curious about the usual timeline for reimbursement when using the courtesy billing feature.
