Maternity Leave - 2022

Hi everyone, 

I have seen many old posts about maternity leave and how there is not an option to pause your Simple Practice account in the past. As it is now 2022 I am hoping there is a different answer to this question...

  Hi Kelsey,

  At this time, we don’t offer a way to pause your SimplePractice account. If you’d like to reduce your monthly subscription cost, you have the option to switch to a lower subscription plan. Our Starter plan is the lowest priced available SimplePractice subscription at $29/month. This plan offers HIPAA-compliant storage of all of your data and client PHI, while still giving you the flexibility to easily access client records when the need arises.

  Please note that you’ll lose access to the following features if you switch to our Starter plan:

  • Secure Messaging

  • Online appointment requests

  • Appointment-request Widget

  • Administrative notes

  • Custom note templates

    • Any previously created customized templates will be stored and become available for use again if you choose to upgrade your plan in the future

  • Wiley Treatment Planners

  • Electronic claim filing

  • Integrated ERAs/EOBs

  • Automated ERA recording

  • Team members

  If you make this change, you'll be able to choose the best plan and features you need whenever you're ready. You can update your subscription by navigating to Settings > Subscription Information at any time.
