Closing practice and outstanding insurance payments

How long do I need to keep my SP account open in order to receive outstanding insurance payments?  Will they bounce back and maybe be send via mail?  Do I need to speak to each insurance company ?  I am  closing as of June 1 and will not have received all my outstanding insurance claims.   Do I keep the account open another month or until they are all in?
