Marking corrected invoice as paid

I deleted an old invoice with an incorrect amount that was marked paid. How can I mark a new correct invoice as paid? Patient paid via credit card originally.

  Hi Patricia,

  If you add a payment and that payment allocates to an invoice which you then delete, that payment will become a credit and then when you create a new invoice, the payment will allocate to that new invoice and mark it as paid.
