Closing Practice

I will be closing my practice at the end of July.  Is there someone that could assist in  walking me through the appropriate steps to closing my Simple Practice account?

  Hi Alexandria,

  • First, you'll want to export your data for your records.

    • To export, go to the Export Page and request an export. To learn more about exporting your data, you can see this guide: Data Export: Exporting client information. Once you export your data, just make sure to open the exported file before cancelling. You'll need to do this because once you cancel, we can't recover this information.

  • Next, you can cancel your account.

    • First, go to your Subscription Information page. From there, click Cancel my account in the lower right corner of the page. Next, follow the instructions on the page to cancel your account. Once you've successfully completed the cancellation process, you'll be logged out of your account and taken back to the login screen. After you fully delete your account, you will no longer have access to the account and the account data is deleted. We cannot recover this data for you.
