    Hi Karen,

    In SimplePractice, you have the ability to export, download, and/or print all of the progress notes for all of your client or a specific client. To do this, follow these steps:

    • Navigate to Settings > Data Export and click Start Export in the top right corner
    • Select the appropriate option 
      • All clients
      • A single client
      • A primary clinician 
    • Depending on what you've selected, choose the appropriate options
      • To include progress notes, select either Complete or Sessions for the data you wish to export
      • You have the option to require a password to open the file
    • After reviewing your selection, click Export
    • You will receive an email stating that your export is ready to download
    • To download the file via Zip file, click on the link in the email or click Ready for download 
    • Open the file and input the password if needed
    • The progress notes can be found in Medical Records > [Client Name] folder
