client search only find client with last name

I have a new minor client that had completed all of the paperwork, but when I searched the name it wouldn't come up. when I searched last name then it came up.  Everything looks fine, I don't know why this is happening. It won't show up when scheduling, it won't show up under clients or just in search clients. only by last name.
