How do I get claims to stop showing up as unbilled if I billed through another method?  For example, I bill all my Independence claims directly through the insurance site so on my simple practice, they still sho up as unbilled appointment which is confusing.

  You have to actually create the claim in Simple Practice. Once created, just don't submit it.
