A client's emergency contact received an email reminder regarding the client's appointment. The client did not mistakenly list the emergency contact's email as theirs and the client did not receive either email or text reminder themselves (according to SP reports). The client is not a minor. While I have no concerns around client not receiving reminders if they choose not to, I am really concerned that the client's emergency contact was sent an email they never should have received and that it was automatically sent out.
