Time-stamped edits
AnsweredI know this has been requested before but nothing has come of it. There are a number of us who would like to have the option to have our edits time-stamped. I understand that the reason of having this feature is to help clinicians in cases of audits, however, we should have the choice to turn time stamps on or off - for all the money we are paying SP for your service. Or at the very least, once we lock the note again, let the new signature date be what is on the bottom of the document, as opposed to also having all of the edit dates. I have supervise clinicians that are reluctant to lock notes because of this issue and as far as I’m concerned, unlocked notes are worse than notes that have been edited 3 times.

Hi Fanegie,
At this time, this is not a feature that we are currently working on. I recommend voting on this idea on our Ideas and Suggestions Board: https://feedback.simplepractice.com/
