How do I know when I can file a secondary claim?

    I don't believe there is a reminder report (which would be awesome though), once the primary claim processes, then you can create and submit the secondary

    So you're saying that there is a reminder notification we will get after the primary goes through, correct.

    no, there is no reminder; I have the therapists give me a sheet once a week for any of their clients who have secondary insurances, and I just check once a week to see if the primary claim has paid/processed and then submit the secondary.  I would love for there to be a reminder from Simple Practice to submit secondary claims, but there is not one at this time.

    Well, phooey. Thank you so much for taking the time to help. We're putting together the job guides ahead of our launch and that is an important piece as we are seeing an increase in secondary insurance coverage.

    Once you file the primary claim and it is finalized, does anyone know if the appointments will again show up under Insurance -> Unbilled Appointments if the secondary claim has not been filed?
