My name is Aja D. Harrison, I am a Clinical Director/Supervisor with an agency that utilizes Simple Practice. My question is...
How do I sign progress notes & other required client forms/documents (ie. Assessments & Treatment Plans) that were previously assigned to a Clinician that is no longer employed with my company?
I already tried to reassign the case to another supervisor using the "Team Members" option, however, because the Clinician is no longer an employee, Simple Practice will not allow me to make the switch.
More specifically, currently, I am the assigned supervisor, however, the note I need to sign, I was NOT employed with the agency. But, whenever I was hired, the Clinician was assigned to me as the signing supervisor and all the client's notes followed; even the notes prior to my hire date.
I hope all this makes sense. Please advise?
