Referring colleagues to SimplePractice

SimplePractice offers a referral program that lets you invite colleagues to try the platform and earn account credit when they subscribe. This guide explains how the referral program works, how to share your referral link, and how to track your referrals.

When you refer a colleague, both you and your colleague can earn a $200 credit toward subscription charges on your SimplePractice accounts. The credit is applied after your colleague completes their third subscription payment.

Finding your referral link

Referrals are managed through the referral link in your account. To receive referral credit, your colleague must sign up using your unique referral link.

1. Navigate to your calendar
2. Select Earn $200 in account credit
3. Click Email

4. Enter your colleague’s email address in the To field
   • Add multiple email addresses to share your link with multiple colleagues

5. If you'd like, edit the message in the Note field
6. Click Send Email

You can also share your referral link on social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or X by selecting the corresponding icon.

If you prefer to copy and paste your link, select the copy icon.

Signing up through the referral invite

To receive referral credit, your colleague must use your unique referral link when signing up for SimplePractice.

1. Click your referral link
   • If invited by email, click Start My Free Trial in the email

2. Select Start My Free Trial
3. Fill out all required fields
4. Click Start For Free

Managing your referrals

You can track and manage your referrals from the Referral Stats page.

1. Navigate to your calendar
2. Select Earn $200 in account credit
3. Click View my stats

On the Referral Stats page, you can track:

• Which colleagues you’ve invited
• Which colleagues are currently in trial
• Which colleagues have subscribed to a paid account

Important: Your referral link is the only way SimplePractice can track referrals and apply credits to your account.

To resend your referral link, click Re-send Invite next to your colleague’s email address.
